Summary

Configure the types of training your company requires

A training topic is the subject matter to be taught in a practical training session. Training topics may be job-specific instructions or company-wide processes. They may cover information required for regulatory compliance, or details of job workflows.

Select Manage Training Topics from the top row of the control center, and Add Training Topic on the top right:

Define Training Topic

When you go to add a topic, you will name it and select its format.

Include a description, the locations which will use the training, and set the most recent date of the training materials.

You will then have certain options:

The Expires box allows you to define the number of days this training is valid.

The Requires Trainer box will ensure that your facilitator has valid credentials by verifying that they have required up to date certifications.

The Regulated Training Box will allow you to indicate if the training is required by a Regulatory Entity (e.g. OSHA). You will select the relevant Regulatory Entity from a dropdown menu.

Verification

From there, you will select any relevant verification methods that you will use to prove that your employees have received this training

Selecting Employee Signature will require the collection of signatures from employees. There are several ways to collect signatures. Employees can sign through text messages or on a shared computer or tablet after a training. You can read more about this on the Verify Trainings page.

The Test Score option will require a score to be entered for the training to be verified. It does not matter what score the employee received—any number entered will satisfy this requirement

Pass/Fail Is only verified if the employee has passed.

Document Upload required at least one document to be uploaded. This will show up under an individual training record.

Upload any documents or materials that will be part of the training, and press Save.
